Qurum Beach, Muscat<\/h2>\n

Qurum Beach is Muscat’s longest and most beautiful beach. It is four kilometers long and very easy to reach.<\/p>\n
The soft golden sand and the turquoise waters provide a sense of tranquility while the well-developed amenities provide modern-day comfort.<\/p>\n
Sports activities like jet skiing, parasailing and canoeing can be booked at the beach. Snorkeling trips or diving trips can also be booked.<\/p>\n

Bait Al Zubair, Muscat<\/h2>\n

Al Zubair family first opened the museum to the public in 1998, they later established the foundation in 2005, as the cultural and social arm of the family-owned business, The Zubair Corporation.<\/p>\n
Bait al Zubair displays the family\u2019s collection of Omani artifacts that spans a number of centuries. And show the Omani lifestyle over the years.<\/p>\n
The museum houses an intriguing collection of weaponry, traditional costumes, antique household items, and jewelry.<\/p>\n
Several side rooms offer a glimpse into the aesthetics of a traditional Omani room, decorated and furnished with utmost precision.<\/p>\n
After you finish touring the museum and the model village you can relax for a while in the garden with a nice drink from the cafe.<\/p>\n
Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque<\/h2>\n

To design this breathtaking mosque a competition was held in 1993.<\/p>\n
This glorious piece of modern Islamic architecture was a gift to the nation from Sultan Qaboos to mark his 30th year of reign.<\/p>\n
The interior of this grand mosque is as beautiful as the exterior, featuring a 70m by 60m Persian carpet that took four years to be weaved.<\/p>\n
This hand-woven carpet is the second largest single piece carpet in the world. The chandelier as well is very imposing, it is 14 meters tall and was made in Italy.<\/p>\n
The mosque, which can accommodate 20,000 worshippers, including 750 women in a private\u00a0musalla\u00a0, is an active place of worship, but make sure to take a tour after prayer as it is a glorious place to visit.<\/p>\n
Salalah<\/h2>\n

Salalah, the capital of Dhofar region, is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.<\/p>\n
The nature there is unbelievable, especially during Khareef or monsoon season. If you take a tour in Oman during this season, Salalah should be your first stop.<\/p>\n
mid-June to mid-August, monsoon clouds from India bring a constant drizzle to the area and, as a result, the whole area is transformed into a lush green landscape, even the surrounding mountains.<\/p>\n
You should definitely enjoy the coconut fringed beaches in Salalah, but remember that the ocean waves and currents are not always predictable.<\/p>\n
You should also try the fresh coconut juice while you are there, street vendors will lop the top of a green coconut for you.<\/p>\n
