50% of Dubai’s population Do not live in Dubai

UAE - February 8, 2015
Real estate projects for low income

The high rents percentage in Dubai has created the desire among the middle income class to think about buying instead of renting. It is worth mentioning that 2014 saw the establishment of many real estate projects targeting this segment, such as Al Khail Gate, International City, Discovery Gardens and Queue Point where the buying and renting prices varied in each of these projects.

Harbor company report pointed out that 50% of Dubai’s population of workers and staff are still traveling from Sharjah to Dubai daily, that is why Dubai’s domestic market still needs to provide nearly 100 homes for people with average income by 2020.

The report came in the light of what is now being held in Dubai from luxury real estate projects such as Dubai Marina, Palm Jumeirah and Dubai city center where a lot of these projects occupied the lion’s share of the total real estate projects built in Dubai.
