Jubail industrial city will start distributing around 8 thousands residential on the city’s employees by 2015 within a general scheme of city’s expansion.
The royal authority in the city has mentioned in a recent report that 774 villas will be submitted by 2015 to the authority’s employees in the city, while Aramco refinery in Jelmouda neighborhood established 217 units specialized for the refinery employees.
The Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABCO) constructs also in Jubail 1762 residential units to be completed by 2016.
Jubail city is considered an industrial center in Saudi Arabia due to its strategic location in the Eastern province near the petrol resources, in addition to its proximity to international maritime trade routes in Arabian Gulf.
The city shares by 12% of the collective Saudi national GDP and 85% of its non-oil exports. According to the royal authority in Jubail the city alone has attracted around 50% of the foreign investments in KSA in 2012.
