Al Ahli Group has announced plans to develop Nomad, which is a one million square foot entrepreneur and media hub. The project aims to aid and support the development of local and international entrepreneurs.
The development will offer flexible office and working spaces within the media, culinary arts, arts and design, and gaming and technology sectors. It will also boast one of the largest 3D printing facilities in the world.
Moreover, Nomad will offer subsidized co-living residential units, to encourage budget conscious entrepreneurs who wish to live and develop a business in the UAE. The hub will also support start-ups with business and legal framework, and with significantly reducing the operating costs as well.
The project’s infrastructure will be developed in two phases, the first phase will include co-working and studio resources and pilot co-housing community, and it will be launched at the end of 2018. The second phase will include larger facilities and community development and is scheduled to launch at the end of 2019.
Al Ahli Group says that Nomad will contribute towards the “Vision 2021” which aims to create a competitive knowledge economy in the UAE by the year 2021.
