Saudi-based real estate group Fawaz Abdulaziz Al Hokair Co. has announced obtaining a construction contracting of developing a commercial district near King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.
The project is dubbed “King Abdulaziz International Airport City”. It will include two international hotels and a number of commercial centres, according to a news report issued by Saudi Press Agency.
The report mentioned that the project land has already been handed over to the venture main developer.
In another respect, The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has uncovered its plans to privatize the management and development operations at 8 airports around the kingdom in an attempt to diversify its income amid the current oil prices slump.
