The developer real estate company Al-Seef announced that the Liwan project is nearing completion and is a mixed-use project. The Liwan project, the first of its kind in Hamala, will offer a mixture of shopping, entertainment and housing facilities.
It was agreed and settled on the name of Liwan because the project was established from the culture of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and this name means the spacious hall that was used to receive guests in traditional houses.
The project was built on an area of 122 thousand square meters, and includes a series of restaurants, cafes, and retail stores, and 117 housing units distributed over three floors. It also includes a family entertainment centre, 7 cinemas, in addition to green spaces and street waterfronts.
The project is being developed by Lama Real Estate Development. A joint venture company from Seef Properties. The CEO of Seef Properties, Ahmed Youssef, said in a media tour that the work is progressing in full swing and is expected to open this week and is expected to open during the first quarter of 2021.
