The real estate investment arm of Bahrain’s Social Insurance Organization (SIO) has announced launching a number of projects this year including a new project in Um Al Hassam district.
The new venture “The Sixty Six” is a six-storey residential building that stands in a central location in Manama. It will encompass fully furnished apartments in addition to a well-equipped recreational floor.
Amlak has assigned a Bahraini builder to construct the project.
More projects are yet to be launched in 2017. The company is studying establishing a residential compound in Janabiyah called “Mirage Palms” in addition to a high-rise tower in Seef comprising 190 apartments.
Commenting on its plan for the new year, the chairman of Amlak “Abdulrahman Yusuf bin Yusuf Fakhro” said that the company is taking steady steps towards growing its portfolio.
He assured that all upcoming projects will go through feasibility studies to maintain high return rate.
Amlak’s new strategy is based on two main routes, the first is to maintain its projects value and search for new investment opportunities in the field of development, housing, and services.
