UAE-based Abdul Rahim Architectural Consultants (Araco) has announced that work on the Dh230 million ($63 million) twin-tower residential project, the Ribbon of Light, at Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), is now over 50 percent complete.
The project consultant (leading design) for Ribbon of Light, Araco will also be offering various other services. They include architectural engineering, structural engineering, and MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) engineering in addition to supervision and maintenance.
The twin tower project covers a total area of 128,083 sq ft. The smaller tower includes 238 studio apartments, three lifts, and a lobby. While the other tower features 240 one-bedroom apartments, 16 two bedroom, and 14 three-bedroom apartments.
According to Araco, the upper floors of the project will host 30 penthouse units. Moreover, the towers will feature six lifts across two lobbies, as well as 16 duplex apartments. Furthermore, the towers will boast seven large leasable retail units on the ground floor. In addition to two large swimming pools, two kids’ pools, two Jacuzzis, two large gymnasiums, and 708 parking spaces.
Araco general manager Rahim Banizaman Lari, said: “In terms of design and function, this project will be an iconic landmark in an important area of Dubai.”
