UAE’s newest developer Arada has announced that it has awarded construction contracts for Phases 4 and 5 of Nasma Residences, Sharjah’s premium community featuring over 900 villas and townhouses.
Unveiling the new contracts, Arada said it has roped in Intermass Engineering and Contracting for the construction of 302 units in Phase 4, while Mohammed Abdulmohsin Al Kharafi and Sons Company will build the 178 units in Phase 5.
The community features Nasma Square, a retail centre, and Nasma Central, a community space featuring gyms, an outdoor swimming pool, a nursery, a supermarket and a series of cafes and restaurants that overlooks a 13-acre landscaped destination park. Other facilities include a GEMS international school, two smaller community parks and a mosque.
The entire community will be completed by the end of June 2020, it stated.
Launched in March 2017, Nasma Residences swiftly became Sharjah’s fastest-selling community when its first phase sold out in less than a month. Investors were quickly won over by the project’s enviable location, competitive pricing and superb facilities.
Spread over a 5 million square foot area, Nasma Residences contains more than 900 beautifully designed townhouses and villas that are placed within a family-focused master plan that makes the most of lush green spaces.
In another development, Arada said it has begun delivering the first ever homes within Nasma Residences, to the owners, a little over two years since the debut project was launched.
The developer began the handover process for buyers in Phase One of the project, which consists of 107 villas and townhouses, in April, with the first keys being handed over to purchasers on May 28 in the presence of Arada Chairman Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi.
The first homeowners were presented with their keys and welcome pack by Sheikh Sultan during a short ceremony that took place on the front door of their new homes.
The Residents of Nasma Residences will enjoy several outstanding amenities within a 5-km radius, including the recently-opened Mosque of Sharjah, the largest in the emirate; Sharjah Botanical Garden and Sharjah Convention Centre, which are both scheduled to open in the coming years; and Tilal Mall, which is set to be one of the biggest in Sharjah when it opens.
Construction at Nasma Residences began in December 2017, and the entire community is scheduled for completion by the end of the second quarter of 2020.
