Bahrain government has approved the amendments on the existing Commercial Companies Law. The recently approved amendments will allow foreign investors from full ownership of business projects.
The decision was passed last Monday during a cabinet meeting headed by His Highness the Prime Minister of Bahrain Prince Khalifa Al Khalifa.
The new amendments are expected to boost growth rate and create more jobs. It’s also expected to draw more investors and encourage them to invest in different economic sectors.
The market flourish pending on the implementation of the new law is expected to enhance the government’s performance too and flourish a number of trade segments.
The cabinet mentioned in an official statement that the new law will help improve the kingdom’s rating in the index of Facility of Starting Business.
The new law in its regulations allows foreigners to completely own businesses in food, arts, entertainment, health, real estate, manufacturing, mining, water supplying, scientific activities, and many other fields.
