Bahraini Minister of Housing, Engineering Bassem Bin Yacoub Al Hamar, started distributing 5000 houses within the Al Ramli Suburb Housing project, according to the order of his Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme leader and first Deputy Prime Minister.
According to a report by Bahrain News Agency, the Al Ramli Housing project is one of the main projects included in the ministry’s program to execute the order of his Majesty King Hamad Bin Eissa Al Khalifa to build 40 thousand housing units in addition to housing. The commitment contained in the current Government’s program.
The minister confirmed that the distribution of the Al Ramli suburb represents a new residential origin, in addition to the achievements of the residential March in the Kingdom. It also marks the beginning of operations for a new city in Bahrain, following the early residential stages of Salman City, Khalifa City, and East Al-limit.
The Ministry had taken into account all precautionary measures such as social exclusion and the use of face masks to combat the COVID-19 during the handover of these units.
To maintain the social dimension, the ministry has allocated a number of locations to deliver housing contracts to needy citizens, the agency said. The population had also had to meet their deadlines to ensure that only five people were present at the same time at each distribution point.
