Bahrain’s initiative launched a “virtual mall“ for shoppers


26 April Bahrain has launched a virtual mall to save stores continuing to serve their customers during the ongoing global Covid-19 outbreak. 

The commercial center website includes a range of products from more than 100 companies operating in the kingdom including electronics and fashion.

Several key brands are scheduled to participate in the virtual service.

The government didn’t impose any fees on retailers as stores close to combat the spread of coronavirus.

 This virtual mall will enable companies to continue to provide their products to consumers. It has been designed by the ministry and will provide dree services to companies. 

This initiative is the latest digital display from the kingdom of Bahrain to help combat the ongoing global health crisis, with solutions including distance learning and a nationwide bracelet tracking program deployed across the country. 

Meanwhile, Bahrain’s National Electronics portfolio Benfitabai announced an increase of 1,257 percent in the number of instant transfers during March, worth 103 million Bahraini dinars ( 273 million dollars).
