Beaver Gulf Group, one of the leading Dubai-based contracting companies, announced that it has finished 60% of the construction works of Muteena, a mixed-use tower owned by Al Ghurair real estate for which Beaver Gulf Group acts as the main contractor.
In his comment on the progress announcement, Rajesh Kumar Krishna, the CEO of Beaver Gulf Group explained that Muteena presented a challenge as it is situated within an area that has high population density, which might require up to 50 no-objection certificates for it to be completed unlike areas that has less density where projects need 15 – 20 no-objection certificates.
Spanning more than 6.65 hectares of land, Muteena is a mixed-use tower situated in the old neighborhood of Deira. The project comprises a total of 233 units varying between residential units, shops, and office spaces. The construction works of the tower are on track and they are expected to be completed within 2019.
Due to the several certificates that were required to be obtained from the authorities in Dubai, the contractor has been contacting professional specialized companies including Hemaya, which is specialized in firefighting operations and Alpha Plus which is specialized in setting up CCTV systems.
