Bloom Holdings, the Abu Dhabi-based leading real estate developer, has launched its newest project in the emirate, the mixed-use Bloom District master development.
In his comment on the new project announcement, Sameh Muhtadi, the CEO of Bloom Holdings expressed that the company is looking forward to start working on the project which will be built over the duration of 15 years to comprise thousands of residential units that vary between apartments, villas and townhouses; in addition to that, the development will also include a hospital, a community retail centers and two schools.
Muhtadi added that Bloom District, which might be Bloom’s biggest development up to date since it has been founded in 2007, will be developed in six phases. It will span 2.2 square kilometers in a location near Abu Dhabi International Airport. The first contract for the project, which will cover its infrastructure works, is planned to be awarded within the fourth quarter of 2018.
Muhtadi also revealed that Bloom Holdings is moving steadily towards expanding its projects beyond the borders of the UAE in international markets like the United States, adding that the company will soon unveil a new venture in Rochester, Minnesota.
