It looks like Chinese investors have turned more interest in Dubai real estate according to the Chinese property portal Juwai.com.
The firm, which takes overseas properties researches as one of its specialties, said that Chinese investors’ interest in Dubai property market increased by 1,200 per cent last August compared to the previous year.
Besides Chinese investors there are Chinese institutions which are interested also in real estate investment in Dubai. Despite the current market fluctuations, Dubai is still considered as a safe haven for real estate investment according to Juwai.com.
The other driver of Chinese individuals’ interest in Dubai is the increasing number of Chinese students in Dubai as the number soared by 170 per cent during the last five years.
In the same respect, the international real estate consultancy firm CBRE published a research stating the Chinese investments in properties overseas increased during the first half of 2015 by 46% year-on-year and reached 6.6 billion dollars in value.
The research mentioned also that Chinese investors are looking beyond the conventional real estate markets like London and New York for other regions like Middle East and South-East Asia.
