Leading shopping mall, communities, retail, and leisure pioneer across the Middle East, Africa and Asia, Majid Al Futtaim, has opened its first mall in Oman: My City Centre Sur.
Located on Sur’s main commercial road, My City Centre Sur is worth RO15.2 million ($39.4 million). The mall boasts over 50 retail outlets across 16,500 sqm and 484 parking spaces. Moreover, it includes a Carrefour hypermarket and Magic Planet family entertainment center. In addition to leading brands in fashion, jewelry, and cosmetics, a variety of dining options, a money exchange, telecommunications providers, and pharmacies.

Expected to create more than 4,000 direct and indirect job opportunities, My City Centre Sur is part of Majid Al Futtaim’s strategy to increase its total investment in Oman to OMR 705 million by 2020. City Centre Sohar and Mall of Oman are also part of the company’s strategy.
