King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) has announced launching the construction of its biggest residential labor camp offering a new lifestyle for laborers working in the city.
The camp will occupy around 4,000 workers working in different development projects around the city, the camp project will stand on an area of 104,000 square meters.
The first phase of the project will be implemented by Namariq Arabian Services Co. which is one of the leading Saudi companies in the design and operation of workforce camps, hotels, and provisions of manpower. The first phase is scheduled to be completed in 2016 with a total investment of 150 million SAR.
In the same respect, Fahd Al Rasheed, CEO and managing director of KAEC, said that the new camp is a part of the city’s orientation towards enhancing the socio-economic development in Saudi Arabia.
He added also that the city will keep its promises in providing ideal working, residential, and entertainment for all the city’s residents.
