Construction work progress on track in Abu Dhabi’s Zayed City

UAE - April 19, 2017
Zayed City

Construction work is progressing on the mixed-use 45 sq km mega project Zayed City located in Abu Dhabi.

Nearly 20% of the city’s essential infrastructure works like water, road network, sewage, lighting, and other facilities are done.

The project lies between Abu Dhabi International Airport and Mohammed bin Zayed City and it’s expected to be a new residential and commercial heart of the UAE capital.

The new city is designed to occupy around 370,000 residents upon completion in 2020. The residents will enjoy access to a wide range of facilities including mosques, hospitals, leisure amenities, and many other.

The project is a key part of Abu Dhabi’s expansion plan and it’s seen as one of the largest developments planned in UAE.

Zayed City is built in accordance with UPC planning frameworks and manuals to provide high-quality and sustainable living.
