Directorate of Housing in Sharjah delivers new units to 415 citizen families

The Directorate of Housing in Sharjah has delivered new units to 415 citizen families during the first half of the year with a total cost of 217 million and 400 thousand dirhams.

It’s worth mentioning that the directorate delivered during the same period of last year 85 units worth 55 million and 250 thousand dirhams. The head of Directorate of Housing in Sharjah Khalifa Al Tenehy said that it’s keen on guaranteeing appropriate houses for Sharjah citizens, besides providing other special services like grants, loans, ready-made houses, in addition to reformation and development works.

The Directorate of Housing in Sharjah has announced the names of the new housing batch which included 363 eligible citizens accorsing to Khalifa. The directorate issued also 433 loans and grants approvals during the first half of 2015.

The number of submitted housing applications in Sharjah during the first half of this year reached 942 requests compared to 756 requests during the same period of last year. It’ worth mentioning that the directorate delivers from 3 to 4 housing batches every year.
