Diyar Al Muharraq has announced the completion of the first phase of highway landscaping which included extensive landscaped and park areas as part of its masterplan, to create a healthy lifestyle.
This comes in line with Bahrain leadership’s efforts to developing an agricultural environment and green areas around the kingdom.
Residents and visitors would get to enjoy a clean and healthy outdoor environment as the weather improves after the completion of Phase One of the project.
In addition to the landscaping, this initial phase includes the installation of benches, and waste collection bins. It also includes a fully automated irrigation system, which preserves the green areas while eliminating the need for manual labor. The automated irrigated system can be programmed to operate anytime and only when required, as to improve the efficiency of water usage.
Diyar Al Muharraq’s masterplan was designed to reduce both energy consumption and carbon emissions, while promoting the concept of sustainability by taking into account the three key elements, social, economic, and environmental.
Committed to providing a unique and integrated lifestyle, Diyar Al Muharraq said it aims to create interconnected communities in a fully integrated model city through its easily accessible facilities.
Diyar Al Muharraq maintains a uniquely balanced blend of residential, commercial, recreational, and healthcare facilities, creating a fully integrated and futuristic model city, it added.
