Bahrain Real Estate Investment Company (Edamah), the real estate development arm of Bahrain’s sovereign wealth fund, has announced renewing the lease contracts for Down Syndrome Care Center, one of Bahrain Down Syndrome Society’s facilities which is located in one of Edamah’s buildings in Adliya district in Manama.
In his comment on renewing the company’s support for Bahrain Down Syndrome Society, Mr. Amin Alarrayed, CEO of Edamah, said that Edamah is committed to keep supporting the civil society organizations of the Kingdom of Bahrain through its projects. Alarrayed added that one of Edamah’s values is giving back to the community and support the huminatrian mission which Bahrain Down Syndrome Society serves.
Bahrain Down Syndrome Society, which was launched 18 years ago, was founded with the purpose of providing the needed special care and support environment for the people with Down Syndrome in Bahrain who, according to the most recent studies, increase by 20 to 25 cases every year; the association has recently announced its expansion plans to help accommodate this increase.
It is worth mentioning that Edamah has recently inked a strategic sponsorship contract for Gulf Property Show 2019, which will also be sponsored by Diyar Al Muharraq, the manmade islands projects, and Bahrain Marina, which joined the event as its Diamond Sponsor.
