Emirates Falcon Electromechanical Co (EFECO), one of the subsidiaries of the UAE-based Arabtec Holding, has been awarded a $31.8m contract for the mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) works for Creek Horizon Plot 19 by AFC, the main contractor on the site of the project owned by Emaar Properties.
Situated within Dubai Creek Harbour, Creek Horizon comprises multiple residential towers, with Plot 19 spanning the total space of 13 hectares and will comprise 550 residential units. The works on the project will start in June 2018 and will be completed within 20 months.
In his comment on winning the contract, Hamish Tyrwhitt, CEO of Arabtec Holding group expressed the group’s pleasure to win another contract for a new project in Dubai Creek Harbour Development, explaining that working with the same clients on more than a project reflects the group’s commitment towards finishing their projects in a timely and innovative manner while following the highest quality standards and procedures.
Tyrwhitt added that EFECO is looking forward to working with both AFC and Emaar Properties on new projects to further strengthen their business relationships.
It is worth mentioning that Dubai Creek Harbour is a joint venture between Emaar Properties and Dubai Holding.
