Work on the Hajiyat residential project in Bahrain is progressing according to schedule with the main construction already 98% completed, announced the kingdom’s housing minister.
The project, comprise 126 apartments across four residential buildings. It is considered an extension of other housing units in the surrounding area in Hijiyat.
The Hijiyat projects are part of the program to construct 25,000 units. It comes in line with the Government Action Plan which stems from the royal order to build 40,000 units.
Housing Minister Basem bin Yacoub Al Hamer has reiterated the ministry’s resolve to fast-track all housing projects currently under construction across the country, in line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier to distribute 5,000 units.
