The assistant undersecretary for housing projects in the Ministry of Housing “Sami BuHazza” mentioned that the ministry will float a tender to establish 1200 residential units in Al Ramli housing project next month.
90% of the ground-leveling works at the projects were completed while constructions will start directly after setting the project’s needed budget according to BuHazza.
He added also that the ministry has set the general and the detailed schemes of the project hoping for units delivery to take place in 2018.
Al Ramli project is located in the Northern Governorate. It includes 3,250 residential units and sprawls on a total area of 100 hectares. The project includes a number of facilities and amenities including mosques, schools, and green areas. The first phase is expected to be completed by 2019.
The project is considered a cornerstone in the ministerial scheme of establishing 25 thousand units and it represents a strong boost to meet the housing demands in the kingdom.
BuHazza cleared that the construction works on the new projects like the Northern City and East Hidd projects are expediting thanks to the huge governmental support and the availability of fund.
