Ibis Styles Manama Diplomatic Area, along with Mashreq Bank, has been awarded the Small Project of the Year, Commercial Project of the Year, and Tourism and Leisure Project of the Year awards by MEED Project awards 2019, which has witnessed the participation of an unprecedented number of projects.
With these new achievements, Ibis Styles has now joined the regional finals of the MEED awards which a panel of 30 world-renowned professionals and experts will judge and choose its winners on April 24.
Situated in the Diplomatic Area in Manama, the 95-key Ibis Styles was opened in 2017. The hotel features multiple amenities and facilities that include a swimming pool, a gym, a meeting room, in addition to Omneya International Restaurant on its 24th floor which provides stunning views of Manama’s skyline.
In his comment on choosing Ibis Styles to win these awards, Richard Thompson, the Editorial Director of MEED explained that the accolades aim at acknowledging Action Hotels’ efforts to develop their projects according to the highest quality standards.
On the other hand, Sheikh Mubarak Al Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al Sabah, the founder and chairman of Action Hotels, said that winning these awards is a milestone for Ibis Styles Manama, adding that he is certain the hotel has a high chance of winning more awards in the regional finals because of the unique value it provides for its guests and visitors.
