Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) has opened the Crowne Plaza Riyadh RDC Hotel and Convention Center. The new 326-room business hotel in Al Ra’idah Digital City (RDC) is the seventh operating hotel from the brand in Riyadh, and the 31st in Saudi Arabia.
Al Ra’idah Digital City (RDC) is a mixed use development that can accommodate up to 20,000 employees and 10,000 residents. The development lies in an excellent location near the new financial district, Riyadh CBD, King Saud University and Diplomatic Quarter, and 25 minutes away from the King Khalid International Airport.
The leisure facilities in the hotel include an outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court, a health club and several restaurants. While the business facilities include a three-level conference center and 12 meeting rooms.
IHG currently has 81 hotels across five brands in the Middle East, including InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, and Staybridge Suites, in addition to 28 hotels in various stages of completion due to open within the next three to five years.
