Jumeirah Al Wathba Desert Resort will be developed by Abu Dhabi United Hospitality and operated by Jumeirah. The hotel is scheduled to open in September 2018.
The Arabian-style Resort will span over an area of 20,000 square meters 50 kilometers southeast Abu Dhabi. It will comprise 13 villas, 90 hotel rooms, excellent conference and business facilities as well as numerous leisure facilities.
Set in a picturesque desert landscape, the hotel will provide a luxurious accommodation to its residents. Complete with a premium spa and an offsite desert camp.
Sultan Al Hemeiri, managing director of Abu Dhabi United Hospitality said in a statement that the company is excited about developing Jumeirah Al Wathba Desert Resort as the hotel is expected to attract international attention to the UAE.

Marc Dardenne, Jumeirah’s chief operating officer, said: “Jumeirah Al Wathba Desert Resort will be the 12th luxury Jumeirah hotel in the UAE and this innovative project offers Jumeirah a wonderful opportunity to showcase our truly Arabian hospitality.”
