KSA demands increasing the number of Egyptian Contractors working in its Construction & Properties market

The Egyptian Contractors Association studies the formation of a massive contracting company to join the Saudi market, the company will set to embrace a number of small and medium Egyptian contracting companies.

The study came after the Saudi demand to the association to increase the number of the working Egyptian contractors in Saudi Arabia. It’s worth mentioning that K.S.A currently has only 5 working Egyptian contracting companies.

Hassan Abdelaziz, the association chairman, mentioned in a press statement to Riyadh newspaper that Saudi Arabia called for doubling the number of Egyptian contracting companies in Saudi market to compete on undertaking more road, infrastructure, and housing projects.

The trade exchange between K.S.A and Egypt during 2014 reached 5 billion Dollar, and it’s expected to rise in 2015. Egyptian Arab Contractors Company is considered the biggest working Egyptian contracting company in Saudi Arabia, the company undertook a number of projects worth 1 billion SAR during 2014 including Amir Maged and Bani Malek streets intersection construction project worth 81 million SAR.
