Kuwaiti investors came in the third place in respect of real estate investments value in Dubai last year. Kuwaitis’ real estate investments in Dubai reached 1.9 billion dirhams last year, equivalent to 150 million Kuwaiti dinars.
The executive chairman of DAMAC Real Estate, Zyad Al Sha’ar, said to the Kuwaiti Al Qabas newspaper that the Kuwaiti investor is always keen on buying spacious units with dazzling views. He mentioned also that Kuwaiti purchases is split to 50% for inhabitance and 50% for investment.
The massive influx on investment in Dubai from around 80 nationalities including Indians, Pakistanis, and British made the market stronger in facing consecutive economic ordeals like the oil prices crisis.
Al Sha’ar added saying that real estate market in Dubai is growing in steady and confident steps due to the set of regulations decreed by the government to reduce prices fluctuation.
