UAE-based engineering and architecture firm Lacasa Holdings has announced its intention to launch a new shopping mall in Ramallah, Palestine.
Bound to be the largest shopping destination in the country, the project’s total investment value is around $40m and it is expected to open by the first quarter of 2019.
The company’s subsidiary, Lacasa Architecture, will design the project. The mall will cover a total area of 50,000 square meters. It will comprise 6 levels of retail in addition to 3 parking levels. The new mall will encompass 135 retail units, 5 anchor stores, hypermarket, food court, play area for the children, ballroom, skydiving chamber, and other entertainment venues.
The chairman of Lacasa Holdings Emaad Jaber commented on the project saying that it’s a boost for Palestine’s economy. He said that the project will be a prominent destination in the country for and will encourage entrepreneurship and local innovation.
