ALDAR announced that Mohammed bin Rashid Tower has been awarded the title of “Best tall building in the Middle East and Africa region for 2015,” which is offered by the “Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat”.
The company also revealed that the tower will compete with three other projects for the title of “Best tall buildings in the world for 2015” during the events of the awards ceremony, which is scheduled to take place in Chicago this November. The three projects competing with Mohammed bin Rashid Tower are “One world” trade center in NYC, “Capita Green” in Singapore and “Pascoe Vertical” in Milan.
Mohammed bin Rashid tower rises up to 382 meters and contains 474 housing units distributed on 92 floors. It is worth mentioning that ALDAR company has leased about 90% of the tower’s housing units.
