The leading engineering management and development consultancy “Mott MacDonald” has won a major contract from Bahrain’s Ministry of Housing.
The contract entails the supervision of the infrastructure development works on Al Madina Al Shamaliya islands 10, 11, and 12.
The project’s scope of work includes developing storm water drainage, electrical networks, potable water and sewage networks, site grading, roadside landscaping, and telecommunication ducting.
The project includes also the establishment of two vehicular bridges connecting islands 9 and 10, in addition to one vehicular bridge and one pedestrian bridge connecting islands 11 and 12.
Simon Crossdale, the project manager at Mott MacDonald, commenting on the project win saying that it is built on the strong relationship with the Ministry of Housing.
He added saying that the company on other major projects around the Kingdom like the affordable housing project in Al Luwzi, islands 13 and 14 in AL Madina Al Shamaliya, in addition to island 14 (West).
