Nakheel Properties, the renowned leading UAE-based real estate developer, has announced that it is going to partner with Al Nasr Cultural and Sports Club for a new mall project in Al Khawaneej District in Dubai.
In his comment on the project announcement, Ali Rashid Lootah, the chairman of Nakheel Properties expressed the development company’s enthusiasm for the new mall as it will witness a cooperation between one of the region’s most prominent sports’ entities and the region’s largest retail developer, that is Nakheel. Lootah added that the developer is looking forward towards further fruitful partnerships with Al Nasr club in the future.
With a value of $82m, the new mall will span a total area of 72,000 square meters that will include around 30,000 square meters of leasable space. The mall will also comprise 700 parking slots, in addition to three floors of high-end entertainment facilities that include a supermarket, a cinema complex, a food court, a fun area, and a fitness center.
Last month, Nakheel announced its plan to develop the Vienna House Deira Beach, a 600-key beachfront resort, in partnership with the renowned Austrian Hotel Chain in its first venture in Dubai.
