Over 1,000 new residential villas coming up in Abu Dhabi


Abu Dhabi General Services Company (Musanada) revealed that three housing projects are currently in the designing phase and work will soon start on these developments.

Musanada said work is currently underway on 1,060 residential villas being developed under government housing projects across the emirate and the neighboring Al Ain city.

These include construction of the Emirate neighborhood at Al Samha Region East and West that involves construction of 250 villas for UAE nationals; the Sweihan and Al Sad housing projects at Al Ain city comprising 510 residential units, and the Al Hayer housing project comprising 300 residential units, said a statement from the company.

Al Ain is the fourth largest city in the UAE in terms of size and area, and has highways linking it with the cities of Abu Dhabi and Dubai. It is known as the Garden City and still has a camel race. The city of Al Ain is characterized by strict laws that apply to modern buildings. It is not permissible to violate the building seven floors, which increases the greenery of the city. Therefore, the construction of housing projects consisting of villas, an appropriate choice to protect the green area in the city and maintain, where Al Ain is the largest park in the UAE.

These are the Al Mirfa Beach Housing Project comprising 410 residential villas, Al Wathba North and South project with 347 residential units and Al Dhafrah Square project which will boast 222 residential units at Madinat Zayed in Al Dhafrah region.
