Al Hamra Group has revealed that phase 2 of its latest development, Bayti Homes is currently “under design” phase.
The project will include 135 to 140 two-bedroom townhouses and it is located in Al Hamra Village master-planned community.
It is worth mentioning that the units in phase 2 are expected to range from 93 square metres to 121 metres (1,300ft2), with prices below the $272,000.
And according to Al Hamra Group, all units are designed to meet the requirement of its residents.
The commencement of phase 2 follows the success of Bayti Homes, phase 1 which as mentioned by AHG was an alternative to its Falcon Island development.
“The project had been designed, and we’d already broken ground when there was a shift in the market towards lower-end, value-driven properties, and suddenly; the market was moving towards high-end, luxury properties,” Benoy Kurien, general manager of AHG, said.
He added, Consequently, we had to put our plans for Falcon Island in abeyance, and come up with another product that suited the market. That’s when we launched Bayti Homes, which have since proved extremely popular.”
