Plans for the new Kuwait metro rail project are back on track


According to Motlaq Al-Sanea, the director of Kuwait Authority for Partnership Projects (KAPP), the new Kuwait metro rail project plans have been approved.

The metro rail project will include 68 stations and will be completed over five phases. It is worth mentioning that 60% of the project will be underground.

The 7 billion dollar project is finally back on track after giving it all of the official approvals to proceed with the construction works.

Al-Sanea added that Kuwait Authority for Partnership Projects has finished the feasibility study for the project, as well as the tender process for public bidding.

He confirmed also that plans have been put in place for talks with the banks and investors.
