Rosemont Hotel and Residences will be the first hotel in Dubai to introduce a rainforest and artificial beach within its two-tower property.
Between the 53-storey high towers is a five-storey podium that will house the rainforest and beach. Guests will be checking in at the 26th-floor sky lobby of the hotel.
The outdoor rainforest covers 75,000 square meters and comes with waterfalls, streams, a splash pool, artificial sand-less beach, and a rainforest café and steam.
The hotel spared no expense in recreating the rainforest climate. Technology will give an illusion of rain without getting guests wet, creating a 360-degree experience. Stored recycled water will play its part in humidifying the area.
Rosemont Hotel and Residences will also come with an adventure area for kids, a bowling alley, and a trampoline park.
The hotel will be operated under Hilton’s Curio, the brand’s first operation in the UAE. Within it are 450 rooms, a sky pool, three restaurants, health club, and meeting rooms.
The residential tower will include 280 serviced apartment units, sky lobby, sky pool, an entertainment area on the top level of the parking podium and retail amenities.
The hotel sits in the Tecom area off Sheikh Zayed road and sprawls over 13,000 square meters. The Dh1.1 billion project is owned by Saudi-based Royal International and is expected to open in 2018. It is currently under construction.
