Saudi Al-Watan newspaper reported on Thursday, 28 July 2016 by the General Authority for Statistics its statics report. The report said, Saudi ownership percentage in Gulf cities hits 38.2%, followed by Kuwait by 36,3% while the other cities hit a very small percentage.
The vice-chairman of the Committee of Economy and Energy Consultative Council “Fahd bin gomaa” explained that foreign Saudi and Kuwaiti investments in real estate sector in Gulf cities is more than the investments of other Gulf cities, because of the capital magnitude in these cities and large number of investors and the multiplicity of internal and external investments.
He added Kuwaiti investors resort for foreign investment due to tight internal market investments. They resort to external investments, and the UAE come by 4%only in its foreign investments, which help it to rapid growing and its emergence as a major destination for tourism, investment, and trade.
