The leading design, construction supervision, and project management firm in the Middle East “SSH” has won a contract for managing and supervising the construction projects in Al Madina Al Shamaliya (Northern Town) which is a major housing project located on a man-made island off the northern coast of Bahrain.
The Northern Town is a mixed-use real estate project located on reclaimed land off the Northern coast of Bahrain.
According to the deal, SSH will supervise the construction works of the primary infrastructure and the bridges between the islands.
The project is expected to include 2000 housing units integrated into Bahrain’s grand housing scheme drawn by Bahrain Ministry of Housing.
The primary infrastructure phase includes developing 5.5 km-long roads, water drainage, potable water utilities, electricity network, irrigation network, and telecommunication network, in addition to the construction of vehicular and pedestrian bridges for connecting islands.
