Leading master planning, building design, construction supervision and project management firm SSH has been awarded the contract for the design of three packages for six plots at the Hessah Al Mubarak development in Kuwait City.
Featuring 82 plots for residential buildings (high-, medium- and low-rise apartment buildings and duplexes), the Hessah Al Mubarak Development also includes serviced apartments; offices; clinics; health clubs; commercial activities; retail; food and beverage (F&B) outlets, a mosque and a multi-story car-park building.
According to the contract, SSH will offer consultancy services for each of the packages. This includes architectural, interior design, landscape, structural, civil, mechanical and electrical engineering design. As well as quantity surveying, tender documentation, permitting and tendering services for the development of five residential towers with associated parking facilities, and low-rise townhouses.
A 1,830 sqm residential tower, Plot 52 features 74 apartments spread over 26 floors. Covering an area of 5,506 sqm, Plots 50 and 51 will be dedicated to waterfront residential twin towers with 212 apartments distributed over 42 floors.
As for Plot 160, it is comprised of residential twin towers with a total area of 5,509 sqm, featuring 210 apartments distributed over 42 floors. Lastly, Plots 158 and 159 are made up of 12 low-rise buildings divided into 96 townhouse duplexes. The buildings are evenly spread on both sides of the project’s spine, containing 48 units on each side.
Moreover, SSH has also completed the design and supervision of infrastructure works, which were constructed by Al Ahmadiah Contracting and Trading Company.
