Bahrain’s Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning revealed the completion of construction works for a new school for girls in Busaiteen.
It is worth mentioning that the entire project cost reached 12.5 million dollars.
Sprawled over an area of 14.290 square meters, the school comprises of three-storeys and include 30 classrooms that can take up to 1,000 students.
The school also includes a multi-purpose laboratory for science, computer, physics as well as a multi-purpose hall, a cafeteria, a library, sports hall and other rooms.
According to Ahmed Al Khayyat, works affairs undersecretary of the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, the project follows all of the green building and energy efficiency measures such as double-glazing windows, thermally insulated roofs and walls.
