Abu Dhabi-based Trojan General Contracting (TGC) has landed a Dh1 billion ($272 million) contract by Emaar Properties for the construction of Mira Oasis townhouses in the second phase of Dubai’s newest favorite community, Reem.
The awaited second phase will feature 1,393 units built on three plots, divided into three- and four-bedroom townhouses surrounded by all the luxurious amenities of modern life. Reem construction is divided into three phases, the second of which has seen the commencement of building this month. Phase one will be completed in December 2017, phase two in September 2018 and phase three in December 2018.
Reem will boast more than Emaar’s spectacular designs, holding within it a desert botanical park, sand surfing, camel riding trails, go carting track, dune buggies, and rock climbing wall, cricket pitch, soccer field, and a skate park.
TGC said that by being awarded this project, they would be able to strengthen their presence in the UAE and continue to build a powerful portfolio. Seven of the company’s subsidiaries will be working on the project, covering almost all the construction-related material needed for both the interiors and exteriors of the townhouses.
TGC has completed an array of projects across the UAE including 5,000 villas in Jabal Hafeet in Al Ain, Palm Tower in Dubai and Hydra Village in Abu Dhabi.
