Work started again on Landmark Cityview Tower which stands tall in Seef district after a 5-year delay.
The project was launched in 2009, but it stalled in 2011 due to the major economic turbulences which took place this year and had a severe impact on Bahrain real estate market.
Abdul Hakim Al Motawa, the chariman of “Sakana” and “Cityview”, which is the project’s main developer, assured the project’s relaunch. He said that the current construction phase is poised to end by December, while the next construction phase will start in January of next year.
Al Motawa added saying that the project is awaited to be completed by September 2017.
The long delay is due to the extensive negotiations between all parties involved in developing the tower, according to Al Motawa.
Landmark Cityview is one of five projects being reviewed by the stalled projects resettlement committee, affiliated to Bahrain cabinet.
The other projects are Marina West, Amwaj Gateway, Juffair Views, and Tilal Sunset.
