Bahrain’s oasis at the center of the southern governorate , Zallaq Springs, a project developed by Al Zallaq Real Estate Company was announced at a press conference on October 18th 2017 at the Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa.
Zallaq Springs is the first development of its kind in the Kingdom of Bahrain, it promises to be a relaxing, and an entertaining destination for people to enjoy a selective variety of restaurants, cafes, and global prominent brands.
Zallaq Springs will be developed to be the first of its kind botanical garden in the kingdom. It will include water springs, 10 restaurants and coffee shops surrounded by manmade ponds that cover 3399 m². It is an environment that houses an astounding 3,342 aquatic plants, 3699 shrubs, and 110 trees of a diverse variety. This is further accentuated with the presence of birds such as flamingos, ducks, and swans. The birds are locally bred, nurtured, and preserved by Al Areen Wildlife Park and Reserve, a reserve which seeks to protect and nurture the kingdom’s animals and birds.
