Inaugurated in April 2013, Dilmunia Island was envisioned to be mainly a major futuristic hub for wellness and healthcare. Located off the Northeastern coast of the island of Muharraq, Dilmunia Island enjoys a unique location in the proximity of some of the most vital destinations of Bahrain including Bahrain International Airport as well as King Fahad Causeway which connects the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.<\/span><\/p>\n

The $1.6bn mega development spans the total area of 125 hectares of reclaimed lands, and it houses several projects including residential and commercial developments, hotels, retail spaces, waterways, as well as Dilmunia Health District which would be at the heart of the island.<\/span><\/p>\n

Development Progress:<\/b><\/h2>\n

The first phase of the infrastructure works of Dilmunia Island, with a value that exceeds the $22m mark, has kicked off in March 2013; this came one month before the island project broke ground.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After the completion of the first phase of the mega project in the first half of the year 2015, the second phase of the infrastructure works was launched within the same year and it comprised water and electricity works, and roads network. The second phase concluded by the end of the year 2017 for the third and final stage to start in 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n

1- Seavilla:<\/b><\/h3>\n

As the first residential project to be launched on the island, Seavilla maintained several outstanding features. The waterfront development spans a total area of 20,000 square meters with a coastline that extends for 500 meters.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
