Current Status

It was announced back in April that Phase 1 of the waterfront project, Water Garden City is nearing construction completion.

The project’s phase 1 comprises of a Marina Promenade dining strip that includes family-orientated restaurants offering toothsome eats amidst a chilling and relaxing ambience that boosts peace of mind and serenity. Restaurant tenants are expected to move in later this year.

These restaurants comprise of a ground floor which includes a seating area that overlooks the sea through large panoramic windows together with outdoor seating terraces.

According to the project’s developer, Albilad; all infrastructure requirements, including roads, electrical power, water supply, and a sewerage network, have been completed for the Marina District.

Works on Marriott Residence Inn also have commenced earlier this year where it is planned to open by the end of 2017.
