Bahrain’s Top 4 Real Estate Projects (2016 Edition)

Amidst the real estate sector flourish which many of gulf states witnessing at present, the kingdom of Bahrain is shining among these states due to its huge real estate projects especially in the last five years, we find that the kingdom has made big efforts to create successful and pioneer real estate sector in the region and provides rich real estate environment with great investments to attract real estate and tourism investments to the kingdom.

In the current year, 2016, we find that the kingdom has shined with its huge real estate projects both those which have already been implemented or those which have been under implementation, between these projects Water Bay project, Ramada city centre project, El Mercado project in Janbiya, and in the end Downtown Rotana Hotel. We will enumerate brief of each one of them in the following.

Water Bay project in Bahrain: (the residential sector)

Water Bay project lies in the business bay in Bahrain which is located on the north coast of Manama city. Bin Faqeeh company, the huge real estate development company in Bahrain, develops this project, It is located in front of four season hotel in Bahrain, it includes three huge buildings and it is one of the strategic projects in this region due to its different designs and special location.

The project investments values reach 90 million dinars and its space covers an area of 1500 sq.m. It is divided into three stages, the first one has started in the first of 2016 and it is scheduled to be delivered by the end of 2016, as for the second and third stage, they are scheduled to be delivered by 2018.

The main purpose of this project is delivering satisfying housing purposes in the region which include hotels and administrative towers, to be almost the only residential project in this region. It consists of three towers, each one includes ten stages and every stage contains 196 residential apartment.

As for the project designs, it reflects the heritage of the kingdom of Bahrain, as well as the panoramic views of the blue water which face the business bay, so it is a perfect destination for investors.

Ramada city center: (the hospitality sector)

As for hospitality sector, Ramada city center is one of the most prominent completed projects in Bahrain during 2016, the hotel is a part of the largest hotel group in the world, Windham group, and it is the latest addition to the group in the last period.

The project is located in a perfect and attractive location in Seef region in the middle of the Bahraini capital Manama city, it is so close to the city center of Bahrain and not far from Bahrain fort only a few kilometers. Ramada city center is the best destination for shopping and entertainment in the kingdom of Bahrain.

It consists of palatial 140 rooms and suits, also it provides all comfortable and relaxation means. Besides, there is a swimming pool on the surface of the hotel and barbeque area to enjoy family parties under the sky of the city lights.

El Mercado project in Janabiya: (the retail sector)

This shiny trademark is affiliated to First Bahrain Real Estate Development Company and designed in co-operation with MM brand company. The El Mercado project looks glowing in the city horizon, it used adapts Spanish and the Middle Eastern designs as.

The word Al Mercado means market in Spanish language. Also, the project construction is compatible with the achievement works in Janbiya project.

It is a retail complex with an open space on the outskirts of Janabiya area. It covers an area of 86000 sqm. Ft. on a high-level land to provide panoramic landscapes.

Downtown Rotana hotel

This special hotel specialized with its vital location in the heart of the noisy financial district in Manama, and it is a perfect choice for both tourists or to who travels for business. It is located near the historical sites in Manama city, business centers, and Manama shopping center. Also, it is not far from Bahrain world trade center and Bahrain financial center, just walking distance from them.

It consists of 26 floors, every stage includes 249 rooms, the hotel building has glasses windows on the roof of the building along from all directions to offer its guests spectacular views of the city.

It provides four hotels and a group of amenities which offer full relaxation to its guests. Also, it has a swimming pool on its surface, body lines club for health, equipped fitness gym, meeting rooms covers 1250 sq.m, in addition to a big dance hall with a magic natural light.
