Arab Open University, Bahrain

The Arab Open University (AOU) is a non-profit university. It was founded by His Royal Highness Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Chairman of the AOU Board of Trustees. In 2000, Kuwait was designated to host the Headquarters of the Arab Open University.

The university now features 8 branches, in Kuwait, Bahrain, Lebanon,  Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Oman, and Sudan.
